DELSEY COMMERCIAL WARRANTY

All DELSEY luggage sold with a warranty certificate comes with a commercial warranty subject to the terms and conditions set forth below.
The DELSEY warranty applies to new products with the exception of display and destocking models.

It covers manufacturing defects that might be detrimental to normal use of the product.

Not covered by the DELSEY are the following:
– an accident from the outside such as falls, blows or damage during transport (e.g., airlines);

  • wear and tear due to rubbing;
  • exposure to extreme temperatures, solvents, water or any other liquid;
  • theft;
  • misuse or modification of the product;
  • normal wear and tear;
  • damage resulting from a use not adapted to the product such as transporting inappropriate objects or children or using the suitcase as a chair.

If the luggage is damaged during transport, we ask that you take the matter up directly with your carrier.
The DELSEY warranty allows you to have your product repaired or replaced subject to the terms and conditions set forth below, but it does not open up a right to damages. Incidental and indirect damage as well as labour costs and damage attributable to third parties other than an approved DELSEY repair centre are not covered by the warranty.

 

          

Implementation of the commercial warranty

Before returning a product, you must contact the DELSEY After-Sales Service at MPM IMPORTS LTD on 99376416 or +35722453455 in order to be informed of the procedure to be followed.

The warranty applies only on presentation or communication of the warranty certificate accompanied with the bill of sale including the date of sale and the product reference. If these two documents are not provided, DELSEY reserves the right to refuse to apply the warranty.

Any other defect covered by the commercial warranty must be notified to the DELSEY After Sales Service as quickly as possible after it has been discovered so as to prevent the defect from worsening.
DELSEY requires that you take the matter up only with MPM IMPORTS LTD through its After Sales Service.
Inappropriate or poorly executed repairs carried out prior to intervention by DELSEY render this warranty null and void.

If the product is no longer available for sale, an appropriate and equivalent article will be proposed to you.
DELSEY shall endeavor to provide a rapid and satisfactory solution within the scope of this warranty, but in no way can it be held responsible for cases of force majeure as defined by the law and legal precedent that might prevent implementation of the warranty.

DURATION OF COMMERCIAL WARRANTY

All DELSEY luggage benefits from a warranty of two, three, five or ten years starting from the date of its purchase. The duration of the warranty on your product is given on the product file available on the Internet website www.delsey.com and on the warranty certificate. Replacement of the product covered by the warranty does not result in extension of the initial duration of the commercial warranty.

TERRITORIALITY OF THE WARRANTY

The commercial warranty applies to all purchases of DELSEY products covered by a warranty certificate made throughout the world except the United States and Canada.

THE 24BOTTLES WARRANTY

24Bottles promises to replace products if they are damaged or unusable at purchase.

Please note that this warranty covers all metal, plastic, cotton and leather parts, and includes only manufacturing defects of 24Bottles’ products purchased from www.24bottles.com.

If the product has been purchased from an authorized retailer, it is necessary to return it directly to the retailer. Worn parts, dents, scratches and chipped paint are not cause for replacement and will not be recognized as covered by the warranty, as they come from regular use of the product.

With regards to the array of bottles, our warranty covers any leak caused by a defect in the stainless steel material or the lid. Intentional damage to and misuse of the product can void the warranty.

Specifically, concerning Clima Bottle and Urban Bottle, any possible deformation or flaw coming from placing it in the freezer or washing it in the dishwashing machine will also void the warranty. Only uncoated stainless steel products are dishwasher safe.

Concerning Porta Bottiglia, general wear, including (but not limited to) the breakdown of colours and materials over time, is not considered a manufacturing defect. To make a warranty claim, please send an email to support[@]24bottles.com including pictures of the defect and a brief description of the issue.

Our Team will respond within five business days.

THE HERSCHEL WARRANTY

What is Herschel Supply’s warranty policy?
We stand behind the quality of our bags and accessories with a Limited Lifetime Warranty — our guarantee that every Herschel Supply item is free of material and manufacturing defects. This warranty is valid for the duration of the original purchaser’s lifetime, beginning on the date of purchase from an authorized Herschel Supply retailer and subject to applicable laws. The warranty will immediately become void if the product is purchased from an unauthorized retailer.
Our Luggage & Apparel Limited Warranty is listed in section 05. The Luggage & Apparel Limited Warranty is valid for 5 years, beginning on the date of purchase from an authorized Herschel Supply retailer and subject to applicable laws. The warranty will immediately become void if the product is purchased from an unauthorized retailer. Customers in France may elect to rely on a 30-year limited warranty, which is subject to the same terms as our Limited Lifetime Warranty.
What is covered under warranty?
If you discover a material or manufacturing defect, we will replace or repair the item at our discretion, in accordance with local law and our warranty claims process as it may be updated from time to time. Warranty claims must be accompanied by an acceptable proof of purchase (as determined in Herschel Supply’s sole discretion) from an authorized Herschel Supply retailer. Purchases made from a counterfeit or unauthorized seller will not be considered.
Herschel Supply warranties do not cover misuse, neglect, accidents, abrasion, solvents, cleaning liquids, damage during transport, or any modification to a Herschel Supply item. If a product was damaged during flight, transport or by any carrier, you must immediately report such damage directly to the transport operator or carrier, as this damage is not covered by Herschel Supply.
We also cannot be held responsible for loss, damage or cost resulting from the use or loss of our products. Please note that general wear and tear, including but not limited to the breakdown of colors and materials over time, is not considered a material or manufacturing defect and is therefore not covered by our warranties.
Our warranties are crafted with the same regard for detail that is applied to every item we produce, and is our commitment to your continued enjoyment of Herschel Supply products. We will not honor fake or fraudulent warranty claims and reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to reject any warranty claims which we suspect to be fraudulent (including intentional damage to products, duplicate claims, and counterfeit products) or that violate our Terms of Use.
How do I file a warranty claim?
If you purchased your product from our online store (excluding intl.herschel.com):
1. Take photographs of the defect, the front and back of the product and the striped inside lining.
2. Submit the photos and acceptable proof of purchase to customerservice@herschel.com or through our online form, with Warranty in the subject line.
3. We will inspect your photos and let you know if the defect falls within our warranty policy by issuing a WA number.
4. Once you have completed the warranty process, we will issue you a gift card to our online store for the monetary value of the item (based on our recommended retail price).
If you purchased your product from intl.herschel.com:
1. Take photographs of the defect, the front and back of the product and the striped inside lining.
2. Submit the photos and acceptable proof of purchase) to customerservice@herschel.com or through our online form, with Warranty in the subject line.
3. We will inspect your photos and let you know if the defect falls within our warranty policy by issuing a WA number.
4. Once you have completed the warranty process, we will invite you to place an order for a replacement product on us.
If you purchased your product from an authorized retailer:
1. Take photographs of the defect, the front and back of the product and the striped inside lining.
2. Submit the photos and acceptable proof of purchase to customerservice@herschel.com or through our online form, with Warranty in the subject line.
Due to seasonality of stock we cannot guarantee that customers will be able to purchase the same item that is the subject of their warranty claim.
Warranty-related gift cards cannot be combined with any other offer including promotions/discounts on our online store.
All warranty claims are dealt with as promptly as possible, with most claims completed within 5 business days. However, during peak retail seasons such as the Holidays and Back-To-School, warranty claims may take an additional 4 to 5 business days. We thank you for your patience.
Can my item be repaired?
Currently, we do not have a global repair facility available. However, if you do not wish to continue with a full warranty claim and you elect to have the item repaired by a third party at your own expense, Herschel Supply will not accept responsibility for the cost of the repair.
Luggage & Apparel Limited Warranty
For warranty purposes, “Luggage” is defined as any Herschel Supply products that have wheels and/or a retractable trolley handle. “Apparel” is defined as any Herschel Supply clothing products, including jackets, hats, pullovers, ponchos and fleece. The Luggage and Apparel Limited Warranty is valid for 5 years, beginning on the date of purchase from an authorized Herschel Supply retailer. However, the Luggage & Apparel Limited Warranty will immediately become void if the product is purchased from an unauthorized retailer.
Herschel Supply Luggage undergoes rigorous testing to meet Herschel Supply’s quality standards. If you discover a material or manufacturing defect, we will replace or repair the item at our discretion, in accordance with local law and our warranty claims process as it may be updated from time to time. Depleted batteries in our Trade Luggage Power are not covered by our Limited Luggage and Apparel warranty and cannot be replaced by Herschel Supply. Luggage and Apparel warranty claims must be accompanied by an acceptable proof of purchase (as determined in Herschel Supply’s sole discretion) from an authorized Herschel Supply retailer. Purchases made from a counterfeit or unauthorized seller will not be considered.
This Luggage & Apparel Limited Warranty does not cover misuse, neglect, accidents, abrasion, solvents or cleaning liquids, damage during transport or any modification to a Herschel Supply Luggage or Apparel item. To the extent that your Luggage was damaged during flight, transport or by any carrier, you must immediately report such damage directly to the transport operator or carrier, as this damage is not covered by the Luggage & Apparel Limited Warranty.
We also cannot be held responsible for loss, damage or cost resulting from the use or loss of our Apparel or Luggage products. Please note that general wear and tear, including but not limited to the breakdown of colors and materials over time, is not considered a material or manufacturing defect and is therefore not covered by the Luggage & Apparel Limited Warranty.
Except as expressly stated in this section, Luggage and Apparel are otherwise subject to the same general warranty terms and conditions as other Herschel Supply products.

The BG BERLIN warranty

BG Berlin manufacturing processes are continuously reviewed and tested to ensure they deliver products with finesse, strength and durability.
As a result we stand behind our products and guarantee the quality of our equipment free from any manufacturing flaws for the duration of the guarantee period. In the event of a functional defect BG Berlin Guarantee policy will take effect immediately.
BG Berlin limited 3 years Guarantee Policy will be effective in accordance with the conditions below starting with the date of purchase (guarantee period). The guarantee will be effective only if (under BG Berlin discretion) the use of the products is considered affected by a manufacture flaw already present at the time of the purchase.
This guarantee will not apply if there is any improper use of the damage caused by the carriers such as airlines, trains etc. malfunction due to normal wear and tear, misuse, abuse, unauthorized repair, improper handling, deformation, scratches and body breakages. We strongly suggest from the moment of your suitcase retrieval if there is any damage immediately report it and claim to the carrier.
We strongly suggest taking immediate action and claiming your guarantee we suggest that you inform a BG Berlin dealer of any possible flaw within the guarantee period along with the certificate of guarantee or original proof of purchase.

The Go Travel guarantee

In the unlikely event of a product developing a fault, Design Go may replace the goods or issue a refund at its own discretion.

The Instax Fuji guarantee

In the unlikely event of a product developing a fault, Instax by Fuji may replace the goods at its own discretion within a year of the day of purchase, and only if the camera is not used.
